Pouyanne’s reputation led the maison to be honoured by the Association pour l’Encouragement des Études Napoléoniennes, the foremost society dedicated to preserving Napoleoni heritage, for the restoration of Napoleon’s famed hat and his two greatcoats. The results were so remarkable that they resonated far beyond France, earning praise across the Atlantic, in leading publications in the United States.
