From Haussman to the Royal Courts
The maison opens a second address at 57 boulevard Haussmann. By then, the reputation of Pouyanne had already spread far beyond Paris, as trunks arrived from across the Atlantic filled with precious couture pieces entrusted by the world’s most discerning clientele. Pouyanne was distinguished by royal warrants from several courts, including that of the British Royal Family and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Through the archives meticulously preserved by Louis Pouyanne, one perceives a vision already in motion; to let the light of French excellence travel beyond its borders and offer the world the splendour of its art.
